Patagonia's 180° South documentary on Netflix

Watched 180° South documentary on Netflix last night. If you like Patagonia, both the mountain range and the company, if you like adventure surfing, sailing, climbing and some history and humanity thrown in, this is well worth the 85-minutes to watch. It will stick around with you for a while as you think and contemplate as the real issues discussed in the documentary calls for a lifestyle change for the earth, one of which most of us have long forgotten about...

BBQ Grill / Hibatchi Off-Road Upgrade



My lava rocks kept falling down below the lower grill as I carry this little grill with me on our off-roading adventure & camping trips. So I rigged up some wire mesh to hold all the rocks in the right place!

Eureka Tent Brand History


A company or brands history is a great perspective to look at and while I have seen this brand of tents for a long time, I never had a perspective or opinion of my own regarding this brand. So with out further adue...
The Eureka history bullet points that caugth my eye:
  • Eureka was established in 1895!
  • Manufactured for the military for World War II
  • Sir Edmund Hillary used the Draw-Tite® Tent  and by America's first Everest expedition in 1963
